What is Amazon Associates? How can I get started?
Amazon Associates is a free advertising program designed to help website owners make money. Members send visitors from their website to Amazon websites using links, widgets, and banners we provide. When these visitors purchase products after clicking on these links, widgets and banners, associates earn advertising fees. Advertising fees are calculated as a percentage of the purchase price.
What payment methods do you offer?
The primary contact for a US-based Associates account can choose to receive their advertising fees paid out via check, electronic Amazon.com gift card, or direct deposit. Associates based outside the US have the option of check or Amazon.com gift card to receive payments. Amazon do not offer other electronic payment options. To change your payment method, log in to Associates Central and click on “Account Settings” in the upper right corner. Then choose “Change your payment method,” select your desired method of payment, and click on “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
What form of Tools you provide for sellers?
Amazon provides links and banners, widgets and aStore. The aStore is an an integrated pre-configured Store that sellers can put in their site/blog which provides a fully functional store.
How to integrate products in my site/blog?
If you want to use Links/Banners, just go inside your associates central then generate the code for the desired product to sell, if you are using aStore just setup your aStore by adding the goods that you are willing to sell then generate the full html code that you will integrate in your website/blog.
